Young Researcher/Mentor Outdoor Activity Day

Are you a young scientist/professional or current student, looking for networking and mentoring opportunities at SWST 2022?  Would you like to do so in a fun, social manner with recognized professors from around the world?

Young researchers will spend an afternoon with recognized professors out of the conference center, have the chance to discuss their ideas and get insight into their career paths while enjoying the outdoors.

We will have frisbees, a volleyball net and other beachy games to play on the sand for a few hours.  The hotel has a nice BBQ area on the Salt side of the complex where we can have chips, snacks and snags (a sausage sizzle is an Aussie tradition).  Water will be a bit brisk but swimmable and the beach is just nice for walking.  The hotel has some bikes for rent and the path is between the BBQ area and the beach.

Come along and spend an afternoon with your mentors!
