1^st December 2021: Call for abstracts out, as well as call for Student travel grants and Student Poster Competition participants

1^stJanuary 2022: Early registration opens

15^thFebruary 2022: Abstract submission closes – all abstracts must be submitted (even student travel grant and competition abstracts)

15^th March 2022: Authors chosen by session chairs and notified

31^stMarch 2022: Authors responses back to SWST for inclusion in program

1^st April 2022: Student Travel Grant applications submission closes

1^st April 2022: Program will be settled

15^th April 2022: Travel grant awardees notified

1^stJune 2022: Early registration prices end

31^stMay 2022: Full papers due for proceedings – All oral and poster presentations may submit a 4-8 page technical paper via Ex Ordo system to be published by SWST in a Proceedings (USB) given to all International Convention attendees, and then electronically published via the internet on the SWST webpage. See guidelines for preparation and formatting of proceedings papers above.

1^stJuly 2022: Online registration closes – Prices increased for onsite registration

Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy – No refund after July 1, 2022; 50% May 1, 2022 – July 1, 2022; 75% before May 1, 2022.

Awards

Awards which were presented at the Business Meeting are: George Marra Awards for Excellence in Writing, Distinguished Service Award, Fellow Award, Distinguished Educator Award, Reviewer of the Year Award, Student Poster Competition, and Student Oral Presentation Awards. Registration Desk

Desk was open Sunday, July 10 from 14:00 to 17:00 at Peppers Resort to pick up your registration materials and badges. It was also be open each day before sessions begin.

Young Researcher/Mentor Outdoor Activity Day

Event was held Sunday, July 10, 2022, 12:00 to 17:00 in the courtyard of the Mantra and Peppers Resorts. Games and food were enjoyed by 5 mentors and 24 young researchers.

Welcome Reception – Sunday, July 10, 2022

The Reception was held at the Peppers Resort Lagoon Poolside from 18:30 to 21:30.

Banquet – Thursday, July 14, 2022

The Convention Banquet was held in the Plantation Room at the Mantra Resort (sister resort to Peppers Resort and adjacent) from 19:00 to 23:30

Conference Tour Itinerary – $100 – Separate cost from registration, July 15, 2022. Minjungbal Museum & Cultural Centre, Pie lunch, Forestry Corporation New South Wales active harvesting site, and Macadamia Wildlife Sanctuary.
