NOTICE:  DUE TO RECENT PRIVACY LAWS AROUND THE WORLD, POWERPOINTS WILL NOT BE SHARED ONLINE NOW OR AFTER THE CONVENTION.  YOU WILL NEED TO SPEAK TO THE INDIVIDUAL PRESENTER IF YOU WANT MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR PRESENTATION.

For Presenters: Call for Abstracts

Proceedings Guidelines (Submission of full papers are OPTIONAL)

All oral and poster presentations MAY submit a 4-8 page technical paper (due June 15, 2021). It is not required to submit the full paper, and if one is not received, your abstract will be used in the Proceedings.

All papers must be submitted in electronic format (Microsoft Word for text; TIFF or JPEG for figures) through the Ex Ordo system where you registered and submitted your abstract.  Proceedings will be published on a USB to be given to all International Convention attendees. Proceedings will also be electronically published on the SWST website after the convention.

Poster Guidelines

The Technical Poster Session and Student Poster Competition will be held on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

Size of Posters

• Poster dimensions – Usable size 228.60 cm (90 inches) wide by 101.60 cm (40 inches) high
• Velcro or push pins will be available to affix your poster to the board
• Posters should be designed accordingly with clear diagrams and text that can be read from a distance of 1.5 m.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All Poster presentations MAY submit a 4-8 page technical paper (due July 1, 2021, via the Ex Ordo system) to be published by SWST in a Proceedings USB given to all International Convention attendees, and then electronically published on the SWST web site.  See Proceedings Guidelines above.
