The overall theme is “Advancing Regenerative Sustainability with Wood Science“.

15th May 2024: Authors responses back to SWST for inclusion in program

15th May 2024: Full papers due for proceedings – All oral and poster presentations MAY submit a 4-8 page technical paper via Ex Ordo system to be published by SWST in a Proceedings (USB) given to all International Convention attendees, and then electronically published via the internet on the SWST webpage. See guidelines for preparation and formatting of proceedings papers above.

Refund Policy
Cancellation Policy – No refund after June 15, 2024; 50% April 15, – June 15, 2024; 75% before April 15, 2024.
Awards
Awards will be presented at the Business Meeting. Awards to be presented are: George Marra Awards for Excellence in Writing, Distinguished Service Award, Fellow Award, Distinguished Educator Award, and Student Poster Competition Awards. Past recipients can be found at /awards/
Registration Desk
Desk will be open from 14:00 to 17:00 at Hotel Bernardin, outside Emerald Ballroom, lobby level, to pick up your registration materials and badges. It will also be open each day before sessions begin.

The Welcome Reception will be held at Hotel Bernardin Terasa Internacional (Terrace), from 19:00 to 21:00.

The Convention Banquet will be held at Historian Church Ruins, weather permitting, from 19:00 to 22:00.
