Proceedings Guidelines (Submission of full papers are OPTIONAL)

All oral and poster presentations MAY submit a 4-8 page technical paper (due August 31, 2018). It is not required to submit the full paper, and if one is not received, your abstract will be used in the Proceedings.

All papers must be submitted in electronic format (Microsoft Word for text; TIFF or JPEG for figures) through the Ex Ordo system where you registered and submitted your abstract.  Proceedings were published in a USB given to all International Convention attendees. Proceedings was also electronically published on the SWST website after the convention.

Poster Guidelines

The Technical Poster Session and Student Poster Competition was held on Tuesday, November 6 from 17:00 to 18:00 and Wednesday, November 7, from 16:00 to 17:00 in the Noyori Conference Hall Lower Level.
PLEASE NOTE POSTER SIZE

Poster dimensions – Usable size 1130 mm (44.4 inches)  wide by 1630 mm (64.1 inches)  high (see picture).

Tuesday Poster Session Authors can mount their posters anytime starting Tuesday, November 6 at 9:30 and must remove by end of Poster Session on Tuesday.  Wednesday Poster Session Authors can mount their posters anytime starting Wednesday, November 7 at 8:00 and must dismantle their own posters after the Poster Session on Wednesday.

Posters must meet predefined size specification.

Posters should be designed accordingly with clear diagrams and text that can be read from a distance of 1.5 m.

The posters will be affixed to the panel by tape which will be supplied.

All Poster presentations may submit a 4-8 page technical paper (due August 31, 2018, via the Ex Ordo system) to be published by SWST in a Proceedings USB given to all International Convention attendees, and then electronically published on the SWST web site.  See Proceedings Guidelines above.

1st October 2018 Online registration closes
1st October 2018 Deadline for guaranteed Nagoya Tokyu Hotel rates in room block.  Contact Ms. Kyomi Ito at kiyo.ito@tokyuhotels.co.jp  After this date, the room blocks will be released. Rooms may be available but the rate cannot be guaranteed. See Accommodations.
